4S has 27 students – 15 boys and 12 girls.
We have enjoyed reading 'The Key to Rondo' by Emily Rodda and will soon be starting 'The Best Kept Secret', another of her amazing novels.
We are now learning to write our own narratives with lots of descriptive writing and great character development. Lucky we've been practising our editing skills!
This term we are studying magnets and their use in Science. We will be studying the way noise is produced as well as cycles in nature later in the year.
In addition to our classroom studies we will also be continuing our environmental studies that we started last year.
We are going to participate in the Catchment Connections Carnival at Croudace Bay in June as a part of our community work.
We are looking forward to the School Athletic Carnival and have been getting fit in anticipation.
